Nelan Benjamin, a member of the Project Greer Street Class of 2023 at East High School in Denver, Colorado will attend the Summer Program for the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology (#2 fashion school in the world) at the State University of New York. Located in New York City, the program offers admitted high school students the opportunity to be introduced to an array of various topics in the fashion industry including character creation, graphic design, interior design, fashion journalism and international fashion business.
Project Greer Street is a ground-breaking and award-winning educational enrichment program for African American males launched by Ronald Sally, a graduate of Duke University and the UCLA School of Law. “During such a challenging year with the pandemic, we are very proud of Nelan,” said Sally.
